while it was very basic, it shows you have lots of potential. you should defiantly continue with frame by frame, and continue without tweens. now all you have to do is add colour, sound, a plot (or you could do a plotless music video) and make it longer and you have a fine piece of animation!

I loved the fact that this one had a theme song, but one thing I couldn't help notice is that sometimes you could see the white flash canvas sticking out at the edges of the screen. Apart from that, it was pure gold, and I can't wait for the next!

problems:

firstly, its called breakout, not pong. Pong is the two player game that doesn't include bricks at all.

second, the paddle moves too slowly and takes far too long to start moving. this doesn't matter though, because...

thirdly, the health bar is a pretty dumb idea. I'm sure that it would be possible to miss the ball every time, and still manage to get rid of all the bricks. Its quite a nice feature, but it needs to take only two or three hits before you lose.

that was great! it had a nice style, a nice song (yay! daft punk) and a very strange and different feel to it than most other newgrounds videos.

sometimes it was difficult to understand what was going on, but that added to the feel of the video and made it stand out more.

seriously, guess how many times a naruto movie has been awarded turd of the week on newgrounds. guess!

i think right now there have been about 344, all though i haven't checked in a month. THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR!

and then there's the ones that got blammed. honestly, naruto movies are one of the most over used noobish movie types EVER except stick figure tests and madness tributes.

while the movie was actually all rightly animated the sound effects where far too loud, and the music was inappropriate and didn't match the style of the movie. also, the loader was so badly squashed it barely resembled a tank and the drawn parts of the movie looked rushed and out of place next to the sprites.

you can do better, just don't copy one of the most clichéd flash ideas of all time, and try not to use sprites mixed with drawings in a movie because otherwise everything looks out of place.

i like how interstella 5555 is playing in the background, but it was slightly repetitive, when you make technologic, please do the same thing that you did with this except with different words.
